Enterprise Centre at the Bernie Grant Arts Centre
The Bernie Grant Enterprise Centre is home to 19 young Creative Entrepreneurs each uniquely providing goods or services to public and private sector organisations, community and business groups and individual consumers.
The Centre is made possible by a unique partnership between Bernie Grant Arts Centre management, The Princes Trust, and London Youth Support Trust (LYST).
Collectively, the partnership provides a supportive non-interventionist environment, in which entrepreneurial creativity can flourish. Where necessary practical bespoke business support is provided by the Centre’s Partners to assist the Centre’s residents maximise business ideas, opportunities and growth.
The light, well-lit and airy Business Units are ideal for creative enterprises and the facilities available offer a perfect atmosphere for burgeoning young companies.
Below are the details of the vibrant and talented individuals who run their creative business from the Bernie Grant Enterprise Centre.
Unit 1 Selma Nicholls – CREATIVE ENGAGEMENT.
Creative projects designed to inspire engagement and participation amongst young people. The aims of the projects are to raise ambitions and aspirations of the young people who participate in the projects.
Creative Engagement also provides Dance studio hire service and Music, Dance and Drama classes.

Unit 2 VOICE OF AFRICA RADIO
The Voice of Africa Radio was set up in 2000 to address the imbalance and marginalisation of African communities in the UK in terms of the electronic media.
The Station programmes an exciting eclectic range of African music that spans the whole continent. In addition, its programming also includes discussions, debates and phone-ins addressing regional, national and international issues pertinent to Africans at home and abroad.
The Station is listened to by over 600,000 people per month.

Unit 3 Gina Moffat - BLOOMING SCENT Florist Service and Caterer.
Gina is acknowledged as highly talented and creative florists who floral designs and displays have adorned events and occasions of all kinds including Clarence House, the office residence of HRH Prince Charles.
Gina is also the Proprietor of the Blooming Scent Café and provides a selection of the finest African and Caribbean influenced foods for visitors to the Centre. The Blooming Scent Café also provides an Outside Catering Service.

Unit 4 Su Davis – FRESHLY SQUEEZED
Using and range of participatory activities including sport, dance, music and performance Freshly Squeezed aims to encourage awareness of mental, physical and social well being. The company offer a selection of classes and weekly sessions for a cross section of people promoting community engagement and good health.

Unit 8 Andrew Reid Theatre Company - BLACK ARTS PRODUCTION - THEATRE LTD
Black Arts Production (BAP) Theatre Ltd aims to advance the education of the public in the arts and train young people and adults in all aspects of theatre performance. Furthermore, to use drama as a catalyst to bring about awareness on social issues that affects communities.
BAP offers extensive and stimulating drama training for those interested in a career in acting. Courses are structured to give insight into the world of Stage and Screen.

Unit 9 Vicky Prior – CLEAR CREATIONS - Handmade Greeting Cards Maker
Through the design and creation of unique and adorable greeting cards Victoria Prior’s company Clear Creation has been responsible for lighting up special occasions and creating lasting memories.
Each carefully designed card is personally created by Victoria involving a combination of techniques including, embossing and embellishing with for example Swarovski stones and pearls.
Attracting individual and trade customers Clear Creation have added a new and welcome dimension to the Greeting Card market, making the act of giving a card more special and personal.

Unit 11 Tokunbo Ajasa-Olluwa – CATCH 22
Catch 22 Magazine Training Academy is a provider of training for those with an interest in a journalist related career, pursuit or interest.
A Social Enterprise company working primarily with 18 – 30 year old, Catch 22 offers journalism training and experience for those who possess the ability and are talented but do not the have experience or formal qualifications.
As well as providing learning opportunities Catch 22 also produces a magazine, celebrating youth culture and creative minds. The publication offers students of the Academy opportunities to have their work published and reach large audiences.

Unit 12 Michael Antoniou FREELANCE PHOTOGRAPHER
Michael is an experienced Freelance Photographer who has worked with people in places and locations all over the world. His experience includes Film Stills, Live Events, Concerts, Documentaries and Portraits
He is available to hire to cover commissions, corporate, official, commercial and media related events and occasions.
Michael is also committed to working with and supporting local communities as evidenced by recent partnership working alongside Haringey Youth Services.
Unit 13 SABA UKUNSIGNED
UK UNSIGNED promotes and develops unsigned UK based performers, giving them a platform to showcase their skills to the industry. Since its inception 10 years ago it has become the biggest producer of showcases and unsigned talent development in the UK.
UK Unsigned works with and supports Singer/songwriters, across all musical genres, comedians, fashion designers, filmmakers and dancers, in fact all within the performing arts.
As well as providing showcase and performance opportunities for unsigned acts the company also offers educational sessions for young people related to live music and other performance arts.
